International air freight terminals in Brisbane will be introducing new schedules of service fees, effective from this month, April 2016.
In line with new fees from Qantas, other off-airport freight handlers are issuing new fee schedules this month, including our own wholesaler’s terminal. The most notable change is the introduction of an export storage fee for shipments that are held at freight terminals for more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled time of departure.
Other changes have been made to:
Import and Export Document Fees
Import Terminal Handling Fees – Loose Cargo
Import Terminal Handling Fees – Unitised Cargo
Export Build up and Security Charges
We are mindful of the existing impact of terminal fees on our import and export clients, but naturally we will have to pass on increases where necessary, while continuing to provide maximum value for money. Please contact us if you have any questions.
